It’s take awhile but we’ve now got a new, shared authentication framework sitting underneath both Indiid’s Login app and the new Recover app.
This means there should now be faster development of both parts of Indiid and new features for both. In particular we can now support login methods that send messages and make preparations before showing you a form - this should let us make good progress with messaging based authentication and traditional password-reset emails. Both Login and Recovery now share the same steps.
The downside is that we expect a few new bugs until we get the new code through a period of real use by real people. If you spot something unexpected please let us know!
This should be the last major rewrite during the Beta period - we now expect to be adding new features and gradually changing code without any more disruptive work.
